| Briconne dal Podere Antico died in februari 2008 at the age of almost 12 1/2 years old. Many thanks to Roberto and Paolo Amadori , Briconne was a great hunting-and showdog !! |

Sh Ch Brody dal Podere Antico at Wynsett (Int Ch Afterfull di Val Potenza x Eur Ch Mantegna Ambra) 19/9/1995 – 2/7/2008 Bred by Jenneke van Doorn & Trudie van Lieshout, Brody was imported into the UK by the late Linda Collins to include in her breeding programme. He passed on some lovely qualities to his progeny, including excellent conformation & soundness of movement, as well as his wonderful temperament. Only lightly shown he won his 1 st CC at Crufts 99, his 2 nd CC at Bournemouth & his crown at Driffield the same year, he also gained 3 RCCs & retired from the show ring in 2000. A very useful stud, Brody has sired 13 show champions to date, 2 of whom gained their titles this year, he is also the sire of the current male breed record holder, Sh Ch Wynsett Xcalaber, as well as a great number of CC, RCC & stud book number winners. Over the past few years, he was only beaten for Top Sire by Linda's other import, Epithelium Oracolo with Wynsett & stands second in the competition this year. After Linda's death in 2005, Brody went to live with friends in Derby, enjoying life in the slow lane, his last appearance was at the ISCGB champ show in June this year sitting quietly in the shade.
